This Friday night at 7pm HackPittsburgh member Chris Teodorski will be presenting his recent work with Kippo.
Kippo is a medium interaction SSH honeypot. Chris has been running Kippo for awhile now and he’s discovered some interesting and unusual things. For his talk, he will present a brief intro to Kippo, an explanation of how it works, and why he thinks running a honeypot is a worthwhile exercise. He’ll also present the results of his experience and hopefully provide the audience with a little insight into the mind of an attacker.
Like all Friday night events this talk is free and open to the public.
