Social Entrepreneurship

January 3, 2013

Hacking and entrepreneurship go together like crackers and cheese. Adding a social element to the mix is like adding a fine wine. Although social entrepreneurship has been practiced in some form for years, it is not well known nor well defined.

As the world becomes less enchanted with pure capitalism, the opportunities for founding social enterprises have never been better. We’ll talk about the building blocks of enterprise and social change, and how they may be combined to create ventures for positive social change. Opportunities are completely accessible to hacking.

Free and open to the public! The doors open at 7pm, talk start at 7:30.
We’re located at 1936 5th Avenue, in the garage around back on Watson.
