Come to HackPittsburgh on Friday, July 22, 2011 to learn how you can make environmentally friendly and non-toxic household cleaners, pest repellents, and lawn and garden products with simple ingredients, most likely with stuff you’ve got around your house.

HackPittsburgh member Susan Speicher will begin the hands-on workshop at 7 PM.  Like all Friday night events, this workshop is free and open to the public.  We’re located at 1936 5th Avenue, in the garage around back on Watson.

Tonight Friday the 19th is Knit Night at HackPittsburgh. Come on down to the shop and bring some yarn and needles (we will have some if you don’t) and knit with us. We will be teaching basic knitting to anyone who would like to learn or come down and work on that scarf or sweater you have been putting off for too long.
