- Have our own helium tank
- Super light payloads for higher altitude

- Streamers instead of parachute
- nothing but styrofoam payload (bridge test for terminal velocity)
- Tethered balloons
- meteorological data gathering (temp of batteries, in the payload, external; etc.)
- (after many more successes) work with schools, civic groups; sponsorships
- relays: launch next balloon from landing site of previous balloon
- multiple launches from same location
- multiple balloons for booster effect
- our own arduino/propeller based tracker
- 10m beacon
- higher power APRS radio for local tracking once on the ground
- anti spin devices
- multiple cameras
- slow-scan tv for "live" images
- altitude based processing
- sequins / blinker / buzzer for locating on way down and once on ground
- run rigid antenna from payload to chute, better chance of xmit quality for fox hunting/APRS after it is back on the ground (suggestion from a WACOM member to Doug)
